Description
In the image Peace Oil and Energy, I was visiting the site. I walked around with the idea of capturing the details of a working, Fracking site. First, I took several photos of the Hydraulic Pumps, the Sand Cans, Frack Tanks. Then I had no shortage of personnel posing for my camera as they ran steel all over the location. It’s quite the little community on a Fracking site. Everyone seems to know the role they play and bring stories, laughter, and a camaraderie for what they all love and respect about the job they each do to make it all happen. Personnel on the job others on break, a chow line, and general conversation.
The thing that sticks out the most is the amount of professionalism. Everyone on guard watching every move like lives depend on it because they do. Safety, truly, has made an impact on and off the job. There are people of every creed and both men and women are represented well. This photo, as a whole, is the perfect image, of the many working parts that make up the entire lease, like the fracking site. It is also the perfect meld of good people who are great at what they do day in and day out. So whether you see a rising sun or the night beginning, in Peace Oil and Energy, you may both be right because a job well-done has, no concept of time.
